Coach Pitch Softball

Intended for players Little League ages 6-8 years and live within or attend Onsted Community Schools.

Practice/games will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Practices will be in Onsted Park, while the games will be played throughout Lenawee County. Once games have started, players will have 1 day of practice and 1 game per week. The game schedule is determined by Michigan District 16 Little League.

Onsted Little League provided batting helmets, bats and catcher's gear for the team to share. Player are required to have a glove, fielders mask, and cleats. No metal cleats are allowed.

Players may choose to use their own bat but must meet Little League regulations. See Little League rule 1.10 Bat Rules - Little League

Players may choose to use their own batting helmet with protective face covering.

Minors Softball

Intended for players Little League ages 9-10 years and live within or attend Onsted Community Schools. Players who are Little League age 8 are encouraged to play Minors with at least 1 year of Coach Pitch experience.

Practice/games will be on Mondays and Wednesdays. Practices will be in Onsted Park, while the games will be played throughout Lenawee County. The game schedule is determined by Michigan District 16 Little League.

Juniors Softball

Intended for players Little League ages 13 to 14 years and live within or attend Onsted Community Schools.

Practices may start in May, once there is field availability of the Onsted High School baseball fields. Games will start after the school year has ended in June. Games will be Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays and played throughout Lenawee County. The game schedule is determined by Michigan District 16 Little League.

2026 Onsted Little League Softball

Welcome to the 2026 Onsted Little League season!

Our programs start at learning the fundaments of softball at the coach pitch level, starting player pitch at the minor's level, and advancing to the junior level. Practice will start the week of March 30, 2026 with games starting the week of April 20, 2026. Junior level games will be starting in June after school gets out.

Coach Pitch will have 1 practice per week and 1 game per week. Practices/games will be Tuesday or Thursday, with a possible Friday. If your player is 8 years old and has played at least 1 year of coach pitch, please consider having her play at the minors level.

Minors will be practicing/playing on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Majors will be practicing/playing on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Juniors will be a combination of Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Juniors division will be wait listed from the start to determine availability for team formation.

Games will be played throughout Lenawee County; the schedule will be determined by Michigan District 16 Little League. For more information, please visit ocrc.club or email [email protected].

We would like to send teams to Little League districts. If your child is interested in playing in district games, please plan on being available in July; districts are slotted to start week of July 6, 2026.

NON-VOLUNTEER FEE IS $60 per family. (OCRC will perform background checks and requires completion of Abuse Awareness Training of all volunteers.)
