U10 Soccer Information
U10 Soccer
This age bracket is where game play starts to get a bit more serious. For players ages 7, 8 and 9 years old.
U10 players are part of the Southeast Michigan Football Club. This age divisions plays at a more competitive, but fun level. Practices are two days a week and games are played Saturdays. Game times vary based on the number of teams within the league. Districts include; Dundee, Blissfield, Onsted and Ida.
Coaches are teaching all aspects of the game now and players are expected to learn the rules of the game as they are being taught. Coaching staff will start helping to identify where a child plays the strongest on the field and is encouraged to develop a player where they will be an asset to their team.
Practice participation at this age level may effect play time in games. It is up to the discretion of the coaching staff.
Cleats and shin guards are required for participation. Cleats must be soccer cleats. Football, baseball and softball cleats are unsafe and cannot be worn.
This age group uses a size 4 soccer ball
Please note: the "U" in all soccer programs stands for under. So U10 is for players under 10 years old.
Placement is automatic and based off your childs birthdate; if you feel the program your child has been placed in is incorrect or not right for you, please email
